Seat maps and reserved seating

Reserved seating uses a seat map. You build the map in the editor; patrons pick seats on Get Tickets.

Open the editor​

Open the seat map editor from your promoter account.

Create a map​

You can:

  • Generate a map from an image (AI detection) — see AI seat map detection, or
  • Start from scratch and place seats manually

You can edit a generated map by hand after review. Save as a draft or verified map when ready. Reserved seating on a performance needs a seat map ID.

After inventory is committed​

When reserved inventory is committed, the map locks. You cannot keep editing a locked map.

Ticket types​

Reserved seating still uses ticket types (price, channels, schedules). See Ticket types (GA).

What patrons see​

Patrons zoom a section, pick seats (including accessible and companion seats), and reserve before checkout. See Get Tickets — reserved seating.

AI detection is a promoter authoring tool only. Get Tickets and GO use the finished reserved seat map, not the detect step.
